An emotionally moving 20 minute film about carers and the cared for. Two carers take three residents from a care home away for a weekend at the seaside. All three residents suffer from various psychological disorders and the film follows the two carers and their attempt to create ‘one big family’. Do they succeed?
Where’s My Family? is the first film to be written by Jo Hart, who had the support of director Trevor Hughes in transforming her work into reality. This life-lesson documentary premiered at three full-house showings in South London last week.
Producer Julien Kleiser and Fat Boy Nigel of Spice of Life were delighted (and surprised) with the very positive response to their film. Frame On Frame were co-producers and picked up credit for the film and post production.
