An emotionally moving 20 minute film about carers and the cared for. Two carers take three residents from a care home away for a weekend at the seaside. All three residents suffer from various psychological disorders and the film follows the two carers and their attempt to create ‘one big family’. Do they succeed?
Where’s My Family? is the first film to be written by Jo Hart, who had the support of director Trevor Hughes in transforming her work into reality. The film is a must-watch for anyone coping with the highs and lows of caring for people with disorders. This life-lesson documentary premiered at three full-house showings in South London last week.
Producer Julien Kleiser and Fat Boy Nigel of Spice of Life were delighted (and surprised) with the very positive response to their film. Frame On Frame were co-producers and picked up credit for the film and post production.

A Claire Barker film was completed only a month ago. Claire wrote and directed the film and is her one of her best films.
A story about a girl coming to terms with the end of a relationship. This Lynch style thriller of abstract realism is a journey of suburban hedonism, terror, regret and strange meetings.
Its backdrop is a celebration of Brixton and the beautiful London Borough of Lambeth.

Morrison's Birthday Party, produced and directed by Frame On Frame's Trevor Hughes, enjoyed its debut screening at BAFTA on 21st May 2009. The evening was a huge success and the film received very positive feedback - a great start to its world festival tour.
Inspired by Alexander Sokurov's one-shot feature 'Russian Ark', this ambitious and adventurous experimental film was shot in less than 100 minutes, in only one take. The film merges the styles of Mike Leigh and Ken Loach. Twenty-four actors took part, and although they worked to a plot, the dialogue was improvised, with no rehearsals beforehand. Only lead actor Morrison was made aware of the final scene before the shoot. 
Wealthy tea merchant Morrison is turning 69. He decides to celebrate in style and throws a lavish garden party for his friends and family on a balmy midsummer night. What should be a happy occasion rapidly deteriorates into a night of unresolved conflict and shocking revelations. Details can be viewed here.

It is wealthy Morrison’s 69th Birthday and a party has been arranged; but will the event run as smoothly as everyone expects?
The latest film by Frame on Frame was made in the style of Mike Leigh and Alexander Sokurov.
It is an exceptional piece of experimental film-making and was shot from beginning to end in less than 100 minutes, using 6 cameras strategically placed in a large private garden in Hammersmith. The lead actors in the triangle of relationships are Morrison Thomas, Claire Barker and Philip Hughes. Twenty-four actors took part and although they worked to a plot, all the dialogue was improvised during the shoot with no rehearsals beforehand. Only Morrison was made aware of the final scene before the shoot.
The Film was directed by Trevor Hughes and he shows a great deal of tenacity in attempting such a difficult task in shooting a feature-type film in less than 2 hours.
The original idea was to shoot a full length feature rather than this 30 minute length film and, when considering that the only break in filming was for 10 minutes to change the film, it shows the true determination of Trevor to try this new approach.
Previous films ‘Babbage’ and Nocturne,by Frame on Frame also features a number of the actors in Morrison’s Birthday Party, have been short-listed and Finalist in Haydenfilms and Hollyshorts Film Festival Hollywood USA 2009.
